The Nutrition Support Reference Guide (2010)

The Nutrition Support Reference Guide (2010)  is now available to download in the Members section of the website.

This update of the 2002 guide covers similar topics such as nutritional screening, assessment of nutritional status, nutritional requirements, providing and monitoring nutrition support, problem-solving, home enteral and parenteral feeding and reimbursement. Requirement guidelines have been substantially increased. Several new chapters have been added looking at condition-specific nutrition support such as nutrition support in diabetes, stroke, acute kidney injury, cystic fibrosis, pancreatitis, wound healing, refeeding syndrome, intestinal failure and intensive care. A paediatric chapter has also been added as a valuable resource to all reference guide users.
