The Exhibition provides an excellent opportunity for people with diabetes and their families to keep up to date on how to proactively manage their diabetes.

This year's exhibition will again provide an array of attractions such as free diabetes health checks, cholesterol and A1c testing, weight & BMI checks, foot and eye checks, product promotions, both families and kids attractions and patient education forums throughout the day.

At 2pm in the Leinster Suite some of RTÉ's Operation Transformation participants will be telling us how they have coped since the programme ended and the show's physical trainer Karl Henry will be providing tips on appropriate exercise workouts.

At 3.15pm in the Munster Professor Clodagh O'Gorman will discuss the Current & New Therapies in Type 1 Paediatric diabetes. A magic show will also take place at 3.15pm in the Ulster for all our young attendees.  While in the Leinster suite Dr Jean O’Connell will present the outcomes of the Type 2 Diabetes & Obesity Research project.

And finally in the Leinster suite at 4pm Ms Laura Kelly, Podiatrist will speak on Diabetes Footcare – Good practice & will give an update on the Galway Foot Study.

Admission is free and we look forward to seeing everyone on the day.
