The Nutrition Society Summer Meeting 2012

985 NSlogoThe Nutrition Society Summer Meeting 2012 hosted by the Irish Section will be held at Queen's University Belfast, UK on 16-19 July 2012. The meeting, titled Translational nutrition: integrating research, practice and policy will see a line-up of national and international experts in the field examine novel approaches in intervention study design and the potential for personalised nutrition.

Four main symposia will focus on:

  • Innovation in diet and lifestyle assessment

  • Intervention study design and personalised nutrition

  • Diet, insulin resistance and diabetes

  • Diet and ageing

The programme will also include Plenary Lectures, Original Communications, the Boyd Orr Lecture, the Rank Lecture as well as the Postgraduate Symposium, the Silver Medal Lecture, a student careers session, a media training workshop and a vibrant evening programme.

Original Communications
Original Communication submission for the Summer Meeting is now open. Abstracts of Original Communications must be submitted online using the electronic submission form available on the Nutrition Society website. Authors must read the instructions before submitting.

The deadline for submitting an Original Communication is 2 April 2012.
