Special Committee for the Election of Honorary and Fellowship Member

The Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute Special Committee for Election of Honorary and Fellow Members processes nominations for Honorary Membership and applications for Fellowship on behalf of the Council of the INDI. Members can contact this committee via the INDI office.

Clinical Co-ordinators / Student Training Subcommittee

This subcommittee consists of lecturers in Dietetics / Nutrition from the BSc Human Nutrition and Dietetic course (run co-jointly by Dublin Institute of Technology, Kevin St and Trinity College Dublin) and clinical nutritionists involved with student training at the main base hospitals in Dublin. A total of 8 meetings are held during the academic year.

The committee is involved in:

Continued development and appraisal of the practical training of final year students
Practicalities towards organisation of placements
Evaluation and updating of criteria for evaluating student progress
Input towards co-ordination and examination of final year clinical exams
Continued education of all student trainers through organisation of annual training day for trainers
