Minister Varadkar also awarded Honorary INDI membership awards to two exceptional dietitians, in recognition of a longterm dedication to the dietetic profession and the huge contribution they have made to the professional body – Ms. Ita Saul, recently retired Head of Paediatric Dietetics, Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Cildren, Crumlin and Ms. Carmel O’Hanlon, Clinical Specialist Dietitian (ICU), Beaumont Hospital. Both of these dietitians are recognised as leading lights in nutrition and dietetics in Ireland and their honorary awards were widely welcomed by all those who have worked and continue to work with them in their highly specialised fields.
