Research Dietitian of The Year & Research Impact Practice Award
We are delighted to open the call for nominations for the 2019 Research Dietitian of the Year. We had a number of outstanding nominees last year and we look forward to receiving more excellent nominations this year.
At this year's Research Symposium we are also introducing a new award, the "Research Impacting Practice" award.
As a dietitian in practice, measuring outcomes, completing audits and conducting research are important skills. Dietetic work that contributes to the evidence base or improves dietetic practice is fundamental to advancing our profession and achievements in this area should be highlighted. This prestigious award is to acknowledge a dietitian that has led a practice-based research project in nutrition and dietetics that has resulted in a quality improvement and is having a lasting impact. Examples of suitable project areas for submission include, but are not limited to:
Improving patient care
Implementing new methods of working
Upskilling colleagues and students
Nomination forms for both awards are attached below and the deadline for submission is 5pm on the 23rd of November.
