Have you heard of the GetGutsy study?
The GetGutsy study is a study on probiotics and health for women. The GetGusty team want to see if a novel Bifidobacteria can improve markers of health in women including metabolic and inflammatory markers.
The study is of short duration and involves volunteers taking a capsule once a day for 12 weeks. The study is being run in Dublin City Centre (the National Maternity Hospital, Holles Street). Women who take part will receive a free blood test including blood lipids and their body composition analysed.
If you are interested in metabolic health, inflammation or probiotics (or would like to get a free blood test/body composition analysis) please consider taking part or passing the study details on to your friends, family, neighbors or colleagues. It is a great opportunity to learn about your health. The study is open to the public and really needs your support to reach the target numbers needed. You would also be supporting one of our fellow INDI members as she works towards her PhD!
If interested please contact email@example.com and one of the team will check your eligibility. Please share this with your friends and family. Thank you in advance from the team at the UCD Perinatal Research Centre.
